Moo Sul Kwan was brought to the west with the founding of the Colorado Taekwondo Institute (CTI) by Grandmaster James M. Sautel in 1983.  The CTI has grown to include dynamic Campus locations, along with programs at several Elementary and Middle schools in our local communities.  The CTI presents many exciting demonstrations during the year and raises money for charity through varied events!

The CTI has presented the legendary Moo Sul Kwan Summer Expo in the Colorado Rocky Mountains since 1985.  Other dynamic annual events the CTI sponsors each year are: Camp MSK, the CTI Super Bowl, the CTI All-City Championships, the Lee  H. Park Team Championships, the Denver Martial Arts Championships, and the MSK Black Belt Symposium.  Besides the CTI Black Belt Team World Tour, there are also CTI Masters Seminars given throughout the year on subjects ranging from free-sparring, poomse, and judging technique to breaking and self-defense.
