General Information
All
members will follow AMASEA rules
and regulations as guidelines.
Members shall wear only a white
Tae Kwon Do or Judo uniform in
good condition. No member will
be allowed to wear the uniform
in any manner other than it was
intended (rolling up the
sleeves, etc.). Any member
wearing a dirty uniform will be
requested to change it
immediately or withdraw from
class or event participation.
Personal hygiene will be of the
highest standard.

Promotion Requirements
Candidates must
demonstrate sound moral
character, attitude, and
maturity, regular attendance,
time in grade, point
accumulation, contributions, and
participation in AMASEA
sanctioned tournaments and other
events. The following point
totals will be awarded for
participation:
1. Class-l pt.
2. Sanctioned
Tournament-5 pts.
Plus:
3rd Place-2 additional pts.
2nd Place-3 additional pts.
1st Place-5 additional pts.
3. Demonstration-5 pts.
4. Clinics or Seminars-5
pts.
5. Convention-5 pts.
(Friday); 10 pts. (Saturday); 5
pts. (Sunday)
Goals and Objectives of the
Martial Arts Trainee
1. Develop through guided
activity his/her coordination
and agility for the quality use
of leisure-time activities.
2. Experience and learn
positive health skills and
concepts.
3. Develop self defense
skills and other basic motor
abilities.
4. Develop movement
skills related to healthful
living in today's society.
5. Develop
decision-making skills through
actual experience.
6. Become more
self-confident, improve
self-esteem, and increase a
sense of personal security.
7. Express and understand
creative, cooperative,
competitive, and assertive
behaviors which are needed and
encouraged within society.
8. Participate in martial
arts tournaments, clinics,
workshops, and conventions.
9. Obtain
interdisciplinary programs with
other types of martial arts.
10. Learn the most
up-to-date information on
martial arts education and
sports.
11. Learn self-discipline
and good sportsmanship.
12. Understand the spirit
of participating in body contact
sports.
